I have a friend that has this Uree process running when he does a CAD. If the system stalls at boot, he can end task this process and the boot will continue. A search for this program shows that it is in the Program Files\asec.

My question... what is this program? I have tried to search for this file with different search engines and come up empty handed. Worse yet, if I search for Uree or Uree.exe, nothing computer related comes up. Does anyone know what this program is? Is it needed?

    TIA,
    Mike

Thanks Mark. I have had him run all kinds of scans and this file is never found. I'll just have him remove this folder and see what happens.

Here is a dos command that will get rid of the folder, you need to Restart in Dos Mode for it be real effective.
    deltree c:\progra~1\asec

Sorry that it's been awhile since I've been back to this post. The guy I am helping still has this process running when he does a C-A-D during a system problem. He tried deleting in DOS and it came back. All scans still do not show this process.

If anyone has any other suggestions, or knows what this process is, I'm all ears. I just can't find anything on UREE. Thanks!
