I have Windows XP Home Edition. For some reason when I installed Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 it did not appear in my Add and Remove Programs list.

Is there some way I can uninstall it without Add and Remove Programs and without deleting all the individual files, dlls, etc., which they recommend on their support forum to manually delete? They show over 20 processes.

I don't want to update, I just want to completely remove it'

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Sussex138--Do not know why you do not have Adobe Reader in Add/Remove (I do), but often the best way to uninstall in such a case is to reinstall the program and then hope to find it in Add/Remove so you can uninstall. You can still download Reader 6.0 here

If that does not work, you will have to manually uninstall per the instructions you found. However, a quick look at the page suggests it is not that hard. Just drag and drop the Reader folder to the RecycleBin and then unregister about 4-5 dll and ocx files. Perhaps print a copy of that page out so it will be easy to follow the suggestions. Or maybe you found a more complicated list of instructions than I did.
And this article suggests you can replace Reader 6 with Reader 7.

Then you might find Reader 7 in Add/Remove and uninstall it.
