Netscape 7.2 to 8.x

Netscape 8.0 does not seem to have a mail manager as with previous versions. How do I move my profiles and mail accounts to Netscape 8.02? What is the advantage in using Netscape 8?

 

You can keep your Netscape 7.2 or use Thunderbird for managing your emails. However, if you only use web-based emails, you can let Netscape 8 to handle those webbased emails and providing additional convenience.

Netscape 8 gives you additional control of security settings, it's website based instead of global settings. Besides the security concern, you will also have the ability to view websites with MSIE engine that can guarantee the correct display of webpages.

The WebMail handling is another bonus of Netscape 8.
