After installing Longhorn transformation Pack, I noticed that double clicking any hard drive partition icon or cd rom icon opens the search window instead of opening it. Right clicking these icons gives me a bold search and open and explore in normal font underneath in the dropdown menu. How can I change these setting so that double clicking the drives icons in My Computer will give me the Open command as first option. thanks, regards

The problem is only in the drives icons i.e. when double clicking C: instead of opening the partition the Search window pops up. When I tied your suggestion clicking on drive instead of folder I had only the find option to choose. Any other suggestions please ?
