    Just rec'd a major catalogue advertising "eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware 2005 "
    free for 30 days-must pay $3.99 postage for CD. Sounds good from the ad.
    It was in the TigerDirect catalogue. Does anyone have any experience with this?? I already use Ad-Aware, SpyBot and HJT, but think there might be
    more making me run slow :( Joe R.

    Pest Patrol is not getting great reviews at the moment. Spy Sweeper seems to be one of the better ones just now. The company behind it is well respected. Search for some reviews, but be carefull because there are a lot of dodgy reviews around at the moment that have been created by people pushing their own dodgy software.

    There are questions about the highly touted 'Spyware Eliminator'.

    www.spywareinfo.com is the website and forum to get good info on the subject.
