Routine maintenance, found a Partition on my HD of a program long ago deleted..partition still there. Does anyone know of a sure, safe way to re-move this partition, not touch the main partition containing the operating system, etc., just this small 40MB partition. Also, if this can be done, then how (or what then) about format for this portion to be returned to the main C Drive (operating system). Is there a safe, sure way? (Know I can fdisk but afraid of that, may, may damage main OS partition (may not, but do not desire to take the chance.). Any advice?

Sounds like a dianostic partition you'd find on a Dell. Not sure 40megs is worth messing with. You'd have to purchase a $75.00 program like Partition Magic to combine the space to C.
