Dual Monitors question??

    I've only used one Western D. drive in a number of years and it has performed well. Was in my system, then Roomies, now in a small system I put together for someone else. Origionally I bought it through e-bay so you can see it's been through the grind and is still kicking!

    Even with the testimonial above I still recomment Maxtor! Mayhaps just personal preference, but I like em.

    The only drive failures I experienced on my m/c and those of friends have been Maxtor drives - I now go with WD Caviar Special Edition 7500 rpm 8 Mb cache and have recently installed a Hitachi SATA as a third drive on my m/c.

    Something strange is going on. I ran the HdTach again and the speed is back to 54. Have no idea what is happening. Will have to watch it and see if there is a pattern.
