My brother installed a new digital camera. Now he is having a problem playing "Drop" which is a game that uses 3-D. He uninstalled the game and reinstalled, but when he tries to play the game all he gets is flashing lights. Anyone know what the problem may be?

    Thanks!

What windows version are we talking about?

What digital camera make, model, software are we talking about?

Did the game work just before the camera install? In otherwords can you directly relate it to the camera install or could this be just a co-incidence?

Do other games of the same nature work or just this particular one?

    Thanks for replying,

I will contact my brother for more info. I know he is running Win 2000 and the game did work before he installed.

The camera is a Nikon Cool Pix 5600 and the software is Picture Project 1.1 He is running Win 2000 Pro. The game was working before he installed the software and another game called Alchemy runs o.k., but I am not sure if it is 3D. All other programs are running o.k.

If the original cd was used to install the software, I would first go to the Nikon support site and seek latest updates and patches for this product. It seems there is updates both for the initial cammera setup and the software program. Not being familiar with this product read carefully any directions needed for a successful install or update of the components and follow directions exactly as suggested. No shortcuts should be taken. See the following link:

A looksee for known problems should also be done.
