In using Outlook, when I try to use a drop-down calendar or time option, the window snaps shut before I can do anything. I have this elsewhere, but it is most obvious there. Would some file or dll be corrupt that prevents me from using those features in the correct way? Thanks.

When you say elsewhere i assume you mean outside Outlook.

What version of Outlook are you using, and what version of Windows?

It does sound like a shared DLL problem if it isnt isolated to Outlook, but answers to the above questions will affect the suggested solution so i wont elaborate yet.

IF the problem is only in Office products (Outlook, excel, word) a re-install of office is in order.

Um, no. I meant within the Office Suite. I use Oracle and those dropdown clalendars work OK. I am using Windows XP Pro and Office 2003, but this was a problem with Office 2000 as well.
