Microsoft fixes some long-standing Outlook Express Issues

    Microsoft finally fixed some long-standing issues in Outlook Express. This update addresses an issue in which messages are improperly handled if the subject line contains the word "begin" and a display issue concerning watched threads in newsgroups. This update also addresses two issues in which Outlook Express stops responding.

    Unfortunately, for now the fix will only be available for Windows XP Service Pack 2

    Arie--Thanks very much for the heads up.
    The MSKB article finally was posted
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900930
    But Windows Update does not show the Update as available for my PC.
    I gather you feel this should be installed.

    I was told it will be made available to Windows Update "later "... no word on when that might be :confused:

    FYI - The installation sets a Restore Point in case of problems.
