Welcome to the Windows BBS Forum, I will post some instructions as soon as possible.

Please read "ALL" of the instructions before proceeding:

You may want to print out these instructions for a reference or you can
save them by copying and pasting them into notepad and saving the text file to the desktop.

IMPORTANT:
First you are running HJT from a temp directory. Please create a folder on your C:\ drive and rename it something you will remember such as C:\HJT. Move HijackThis.exe to that folder and run it from that location from now on. HJT creates backups in case of any recovery issues.

We have some items to do, please follow them in the order provided...

Download CleanUp
Install the program, dont run it yet, we will later.

Download CWShredder
And save it to your desktop.
Close all open browser windows and any other open windows.

Install CWShredder, then:

Open CWShredder and click Check for Updates
Then click "FIX "
Once the the program has finished running, click exit.

Please download Pocket Killbox
Click Here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit.
Unzip the program and save it to your desktop, dont run it just yet.

Enable show hidden files and folders:

* Click Start.
* Open My Computer.
* Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
* Select the View Tab.
* Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
* Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
* Click Yes to confirm.
* Click OK.

Next, please reboot your computer in SafeMode by doing the following:

1. Restart your computer
2. After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.
3. Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear
4. Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

Now scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to each of the following items:

Close all open windows except HJT, then click the Fix Checked button. Close HJT.

Now lets run Killbox

• Double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
• In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
• In the field labeled Full Path of File to Delete enter the file paths listed below ONE AT A TIME (EXACTLY as it appears, please double check to make sure!):

C:\WINDOWS\system32\azesearch4.ocx
C:\WINDOWS\system32\iasada.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\azesearch4.ocx

• Press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it after each one.
• When it asks if you would like to delete on reboot, press the YES button, when it asks if you want to reboot now, press the NO button.
• Do this after each one until you have entered the LAST file path I have listed above.
• After that LAST file path has been entered, press the YES button at both prompts so that your computer restarts.
• If you receive a message and your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Once your system has rebooted:

Start CleanUp
When CleanUp starts go to the Options button (right side of CleanUp screen)
Uncheck cookies
This is optional, if you leave the box checked it will remove all of your cookies, at this point removing cookies is a good idea.
Click OK
Then click on the CleanUp button. This will take a short while, let it do its thing.
When asked to reboot system select No
Close CleanUp

Reboot and post back a new HJT log by using Add Reply

Thanks sooooo much, I got rid of one search bar, but i still have 2 more.

and my spy sweeper shows that there is an attempt to change internet explorer's default pages, such as the Search Assistant page.

and sometimes it gives me under this alert a huge list of links most of them are from top20results.com and others

other than that everything is fine, thank you so much and i hope there is a way to fix the rest.

Please download Hoster from the link below.
Hoster
Unzip the program and save it your desktop

• Open Hoster.exe
• Make sure that the "Make Hosts Writable" button in the upper right corner is enabled
• Click back up Host files
• Then click on "Restore Original Hosts "
• Close program when complete.

Now reboot into SafeMode

Once in SafeMode scan with HJT and place a checkmark next to each of the following items:

Close all open windows and click the Fix Checked button. Close HJT.

Now run the CleanUp program.

Reboot into Normal mode and do the following.

Download FindIt's.zip to your desktop: http://forums.net-integration.net/index.ph...=post&id=142443

• Create a new folder on your desktop
• Unzip/extract the files inside that folder you created on your desktop.
• Open the folder and run FindIt's.bat and wait for notepad to open a text file. It may take awhile so please be patient ...
• Then post the results here along with a new HJT log by using Add Reply

You have a LOP infection that often comes together with Messenger Plus. To remove it we will try the simple way first.

1. Go to Add/Remove programs. Double click on "Messenger Plus!" (or click on Remove)

2. The "Messenger Plus! - Setup" is now displayed. Click on the Uninstall button. Note: options displayed on the first screen are not related to the sponsor program.

3. The sponsor screen is now displayed (if you don't see it, search for it in your Task Bar). To prove that someone is currently reading the screen, you have to type the code that is displayed. Once you enter the code, press Uninstall.

4. If you entered the code properly, the program will ask you to confirm that you want to uninstall. You must answer "Yes" to this question, else, you won't have another chance of uninstalling.

5. To complete the uninstallation, follow the instructions that are displayed (the first one is to close all your Internet Explorer windows, that's very important). When everything is complete, restart your computer and, hopefully one nasty infection is gone.

Then post back a new HJT log by using Add Reply

sorry, i didnt understand how to do the code thingy.

I just uninstalled the whole program with the sponser. I dont need it anymore.

If this is still a problem, Please advise me what to do.
