I have an application problem to solve and was wondering if anyone knows of a load balancing solution capable of handling it.
I have a cluster of 8 application servers, each server runs special services on it.
The clients will need those services added to each node of the cluster to make transations over the network. The problem is, when one service on one particular node of the cluster stops responding, many cliens will be out and will not be able to make any transation. Where is the load balancing here?
If the services are on the nodes will be the problem? were i supose to putt that services? This is normal?
The cluster have windows server enterprise 2003 with application center 2000. They have network load balancing and they have two nic's (one for the network and other for the heart beat)The servers are connected eachother with one switch.
    Thank you very much.
