I have a problem in which I can't get any help, at least not as of yet. I work for a company that allows users to access Faxes online and they come in as .tif files. I can set the file associations to open with windows picture/fax viewer but if I switch the assoc after it was changed to Kodak Easyshare or Microsoft Office Doc Viewer then I cant open from the web, I have to download it to my local drive and then open it. I used to open them directly from the web with Windows Pic/Fax viewer before, how can I get these tiffs to open directly from the web page and not downloading first?
Oh by the way, it tries to open them with Internet Explorer from the web.

    ANYONE???

You must associate the file with the Fax Viewer because the browser needs a plugin to open that file directly. If you associate that type of file with another application then the browser will not be able to open directly.
Excel, word, powerpoint will open directly if you have IE 4+ :)

    Already did that

Associated files .tif/.tiff both with windows picture/fax viewer and it will open with that from my local PC but not from the web, is there a way to reset the plugin? Because it works originally but if any 3rd party software is installed then removed thats when it stops opening from the web.
