   My computer's _NEC NR-9700A CD-ROM drive will not recognize discs that I have not used in the last month. Is this a problem with Windows XP Home or my disc drive? Please help.

   What type/kind of cd's are you having trouble with? Are they data cd's that you burnt or store bought music cd's??
