I have a PC with a recently installed copy of Windows 98 SE. It works fine until I try to connect to the internet (using IE 5) then the machine reboots. Is it a virus - I had a PC with windows XP as the OS which used to behave in a similar manner until I got rid of a virus (Sasser I think)

    Hi,
I don't know if we have the same problem but if you can read the post I did and have been dealing with that is titled; "computer reboots after loading icons, maybe something there will help "...It appears both your situation and mine are very difficult to narrow down so while I deal with mine I wish you the best too...
