For those running Forecastfox (if installed - click your "Update Icon ") for live weather, check out new update -- very NICE. They have switched to "Accuweather.com" for live feeds. Some of the enhancements include
"Regional Radar Icon" and "Weather Alert" (only displays when alert is issued). I'm busy changing some of my scripts via "customize" for "enabled label views ".

Very cool, Dennis. Thanks for the heads up! Both my wife and I downloaded it. :)

I use Accuweather.com, anyway, and I like the radar capability.

And, if you want some weirdnesses look at the user's feedback . There are some good tips, though.

If you've multiple Firefox profiles and use Forecast Fox in them you can now import and export ForecastFox profiles. Fantastic time saver.

I don't seem to be able to download this program. When I click on install, nothing happens. Do I have to allow this site to install the program? What is the address that I allow to do the install?

OK, I have it installed to the right of my URL box. What if I want to move it? How do I get back to those options when it was installed? Also, when I put my cursor on the green/white arrow, I get a message "Type a location in the address field, then click go" What is this for?
How do you uninstall this program?
    Sorry for all the questions.

First of all, whenever in doubt use Context(right)-click. Sure enough if you do that to any of the windows, you will get a drop down. Click on Options, make your selections in Display Placement. There is always a lot of room in the Menu toolbar. i.e. the top one, so that's where I placed mine in Moz1.7.8. I am using the Skypilot theme, so the items are not so visible, but it works. It does not work by entering a zip code, but rather by selecting a city's name plus state. Then, I get a zip code listed which may exist, but never heard of it, but is a commonly used for such data. It works well, except for the thingy which appears from the toolbar, which is two thirds out of the picture.

    Another Alternative

Personally, I like wunderground.com (Weather Underground). The site (with ads) is free, but a subscription (no ads) is only $5/year, and well worth it. Weather information is selectable by city, state, ZIP Code, airport code, or country.

The site is highly customizable, and the information available is almost endless, including local and regional radar/satellite info, tropical and severe weather, marine, surf, and ski forecasts, personal weather stations in the selected area, an astronomy page, and weather-related photographs uploaded by users.

That is the one I use also. Some nice features for local radar .. A (+) on the map tells me exactly where my location is. "Labels/pointers" that can predict where a storm will be an hour into the future.

    UPDATE
Click your "UPDATE ICON ", version 0.7.8.1 ForeCastFox has been released.

Actually, I was mistaken. I have used Accuweather, but I have Intellicast and Wunderground in my bookmarks.
