Try restoring the Master boot Record by booting to dos A: prompt using a good boot disk with utilities on it. From the A: prompt type, FDISK /MBR <enter> The screen should pause momentarily before returning the A: prompt. That's all the indication you will get. Then go ahead and run fdisk again and check your partition and set it up any way you like or if it looks ok, leave it and try the install again.

    Good luck.

That makes it tough not being able to view that error screen message. Perhaps a Safe Mode boot will tell you something in the Device Manager about possible conflicts. Does it ask you to repeat the hardware setup when it reboots? If it does that each time, then try selecting the "Skip" option when it presents that screen and see if you can get Windows running properly before installing all the peripheal drivers.

Also perhaps a bootlog review will yield something.
