Looking for special symbol config

    I am looking for a site that will give the special keys to set for special symbols to use in emails or word-processing. These are not on a keyboard so they need to be set another way.
    I.E. such as cents. Like a c with a line thru it. Another one is degrees as in temperature. I know there are many more.

    Give me another clue. Looked in system tools--no character map. Also went to BBS message. Got another place to look
    I use Win98.

    Character Map is not installed by default ....

    Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Windows Setup Tab

    Scroll down to System Tools - highlight > Details - tick Character Map and OK your way out. You may need your 98 CD.

    A warning about using these special symbols. Do not use them in a filename. You'll end up with a file that you cannot do anything with in windows.
