Wallpapers are pictures (graphic files). They may be stored anywhere on the hard drive and usually are. I'd try the the C:\Windows directory first. Any *.bmp or *.jpg in this directory will automatcally be added or shown in the list of available choices found in the display properties.

If it's not in the c:\windows directory folder:
Your going to have to search for the wallpaper you wish to delete. *.bmp, *.jpg are what you'll be looking for. You can check, as previously said, the c:\windows directory first and if not found there, extend your search to the whole hardrive drive. The list will probably be quite long. If you know the name of the wallpaper you may wish to use that or at least part of that as a parameter for the keyword filter while doing your search. Again keep in mind that if you know the exact or even partial name of the file, you can narrow down the search parameters.

If this wallpaper is part of a theme you may have downloaded and installed you might try the add/remove software icon in control panel.

Your most welcome Sharron. Did you find the wallpaper you wanted to delete? I hope this small task didn't turn out to be a bigger chore than you expected. Just want to make sure you didn't have any problems. :)
