I have a new laptop with a wireless setup and have used it on the road in Marriott hotels where there is free highspeed internet with no problem. However when I am home and try to get on a network it tells me that I need a "network key" Being brand new at this I have no idea what there talking about. Can you tell me what that is and what I have to do to get it?

Are you trying to connect to your network at home? If you are they your router may have set a key automatically. Connect to it with a cable, then type into your browser something like 192.168.1.1, or something like that, then look around for WEP or wireless security.

    EDIT

Sorry, a network key is like a password to connect wirelessly to your router.
