jayder - Welcome to the Board :)

Suggest you get hold of a Win 98 Boot Disk from www.bootdisk.com, boot the computer from it and use fdisk to delete the existing partition(s) and perform a format. Then, hopefully you will be able to get into the bios and change the boot order.

Some motherboards use the F1 key to get to the BIOS. If I do not know the motherboard, after pressing the power button, I jump to the keyboard and start tapping F1 and Delete keys alternately.

Still can't catch it. Hold down a key from the start, that should throw you to the BIOS with a keyboard error.

Do Petec's and mattman's suggestions first. If no luch try unhooking the hard drive and then see if you can get to the bios.

I had an old monitor and had to hold down the appropriate key while I turned the computer on. The monitor didn't initialize fast enough to wait for the cue to hit , in my case DEL, before it booted to the OS.
