    Hi blumash,

after connecting to the internet & disconnecting connection the pone line remain's open & can't use it again
I'm making two assumptions: on reboot it clears the problem and, this is not a case of another program/process using the modem such as malware or some auto updater.

The first thing that comes to mind, have you either reloaded or updated the driver? Have you removed in Device Manager and have windows detect it agian?

Depending on how old the modem is, you may have to start thinking about replacing it.

What's the quality of the line? Here in the States, if you pick up the phone and dial a 1 that eliminates the dial tone, there should be silence. Any noise heard at that point also degrades the modem's performance, including "letting go ".

    Regards - Charles

Thank's Charles , I solved the problem alredy , I had to put an additional string like +MS=V34 to deactivate V92 , that solved the problem , I still don't understand why , it's posible that the phone line is not working well with 56K modems.
