Why is it my list of visited urls in the address bar in IE dissappears after every reboot? I have to manually type in a url for it to become available in the dropdown list every time. I guess it must be some kind if setting somewhere but I'm darned if I can find it. Its possible that Norton Internet security is wiping them maybe?

I'm running WinXP pro and IE6. any suggestions would be great! :)

    Cheers
    M.

Internet Options\Content Tab\Auto Complete button\put check next to Web addresses and Advanced Tab\put check next to Use inline autocomplete. It's also possible a security app of yours has a setting for Typed URLs.

Yes, thks all those settings were already in place. It must be NIS doing something perhaps.

NIS does have some settings that could affect what is stored- double click the NIS icon in the Notification Area and click on "Privacy Control" and check your settings.
