I just left Earthlink and went with another provider. I use Netscape for email. How do I edit the outgoing server from stmp.earthlink.net? That's the only option I'm getting when I go to the Advanced option on the Edit Email Settings. If I set up a new profile, the stmp selection is correct. Thanks.

    jpblev,

    Assuming you have Netscape 7.2:
    Open Mail & Newsgroups
Click on: Edit | Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
Scroll down to: Outgoing Server (SMTP) and open
In the Outgoing Server (SMTP) settings, Server Name,
    Delete: Earthlink
Enter the correct ISP SMTP server name.
Close Mail & Newsgroups, and exit Netscape.

When you start Netscape again, your new settings will have taken effect.

    jpblev,

No need to feel stupid, as we've all overlooked settings that stared us squarely in the face. :D
