Recently a newspaper we read online began requiring registration and a user name with a password to log in. I would always log in and not check the box to remember the password. My wife went to log in and typed the wrong password and checked the box to remember the log in information. Where are passwords kept and how can I delete the wrong information. Thanks, Jack

I don't know of any way to do this (there may be a way) other than to delete all the passwords you have saved for IE. To do this, in IE, click tools>internet options>content>auto complete>clear passwords.

You can wait to see if somebody has a better suggestion if you want. As I said, this is the only way I know of.

Jack, if you will just click on the area for the User name, the saved user name(s) should appear for you to select one. Moving your mouse over the one that is bad should highlight it. When it is highlighted, Delete it with the Delete Key.

If you have both the good user name and password as well as the bad, the good will still be there to select. Works for me.

If your are not sure which is which, delete them both, then start over again. Only affect the one page this way.
