minor thing. I switched from 98 to xp and there's a question I have about the bottom display bar where start, launch icons and the time is. Under 98 if you opened several IE windows and min. them they would stack across the bottom. With xp they all go in one minimized block with the number 1,2,3,etc in it to show how many open IE windows you have. To max. you have to click on this one and then click on the IE you want. Any way to have xp line them up across the bottom separately?

Right-click anywhere (free space) on the "bottom display bar" and choose PROPERTIES. Find the check-box for "Group Similar Taskbar Buttons" and uncheck it.

It read like you only have a Tool/quicklaunch bar right now.

Try grabing the top edge with the mouse and drag it up. This will give you a separate TaskBar.

I have mine set for 3 high but aslo have it Auto Hidden so that it is not alwasy in the way.
