    Hi,
I am a network administrator for a small company. I have a question and hope you can help me.

Does anyone know how to set a domain based workstation as a workstation not to save anything after rebooting? I know it could be done, i have seen workstations are like that in our school's library. After we restart the computer, the windows will delete all the stuff that was saved on the computer and reboot as a original fresh installed computer.

As I recall, it takes a pretty heavy duty application that basically restore an image of the drive.

I'm sure someone who knows more about it will chime in.

The "recovery disks" that come with a PC from many PC makers will basically take the system back to the day it left the factory. Of course that means you will loose all MS Updates and probably have minimal, if any, security apps installed.
Or you could use a program like DeepFreeze.

While not free, the price for schools and libraries is fairly low.
