AIM Error problem ??

Hello, my daughter downloaded AOL's AIM+ and she just started to use it. It all went fine but now whenever she tries to add a "Buddy" she types in the name then returns to the front of Buddy List to view names she gets this error: "One or more of the additions or modifications to your Buddy List were not able to be saved ". Can anyone help us out...She verrified the new account in her email & all that stuff..
We DO NOT HAVE AOL, just AIM. This is a brand new screename that she is using, different from her other screename if that matters. Oh, its version 5.9.3702

Does she log onto XP as a Limited User, or an account as an Administrator? or are you using 98?
BTW, you can uninstall the Viewpoint Media Manager, it was piggybacked with AIM and is useless to you.

 

Thanks Markp for getting back to me. She is an Administrator & its XP. I have uninstalled Viewpoint Media player long ago but thanks!
