Password on New Folder/New Briefcase on a Windows 98 Online Desktop ? ? ?

Ok. I have a Compaq Presario Computer, w/ Windows 98. its about 2-3 years old, If somone could tell me if I can put a Password on a New Folder or a New Briefcase that I created on my Desktop, so only i have access to it. thanks in advance to anyone who answers my question

wow, that program seems pretty dang cool. thanks.. but, im looking for somthing more simple.. i want to know if Windows 98 would let me put a plain on Password on a New Folder or New Briefcase i create on the desktop, im sure i saw one of my friends do it a few years ago. maybe its one of the folders options or security features, i dont know. im not that smart when it comes to these things... i talked to a girl, with a Dell pc, and Windows 2000, she is able to put a pw on her New Folders/New Briefcases on her Desktop, by going thru "Shared Documents" then somthing like "security ".. i know that specific operation insnt availbe to Windows 98, but do u know if somthing like it IS ?? all im lookin for is a plain old, lil simple password to prevent anyone from accessing my New Folder or New Brienfcase on my Desktop. thank you for your reply
