DirectX [NASA World Wind program]

DirectX ???

I am trying to run a program, World Wind, but when I try to open it I get this:

“Unable to locate a compatible graphics adapter. Make sure you are running the latest version of DirectXâ€

How do I correct this? What is a DirectX, how do I get the latest version?
Any ideas?

 

DirectX is drivers, in this case graphics drivers for a game which i guess world wind is

Here's Windows drivers link; downloading v9.0c will prolly do ya'.

I downloaded, installed it and I get the same message :-(

Try going to NASA World Wind site and you will find instructions for upgrading all necessities. Just installed this marvellous program myself but you do need quite a bit of updating.
