Hi, Does any body know where I can buy a cooling fan for a SPARKLE GeFORCE FX 5200 128MB (SP8834T) graphics card. I bought a new card, in the description it showed a cooling fan attached but when I received it there was no fan. The supplier says thats how they come.
    Any help please.

    Hi,

It was suggested in one of the previous threads (hello Rockster2U :) ) to use a fan system that mounts into a PCI slot. Unless all your PCI slots are filled you could install one into the slot next to the graphics card. Sounds better than trying to mount a new heatsink and fan onto the card, also, it will help remove heat from other areas of the system.

Let me know if you need help sourcing one.

    Hi,

Thanks for that Mattman, that I could do but as there is a heat sink on tha card as it is and the power connection for a fan I would prefer to fit the correct one.

    Thanks :)

Try places like Newegg, Outpost, TigerDirect, ZipZoomFly, etc. It should be just a standard fan of ??mm (your manual should tell you what size, probably 60mm or smaller). Check its power connector(s) before buying.

If the manufacturer shipped it with no fan, you should be fine as is. However, if you insist - here's a pretty cool number for you to check out.
