VB program which I created freezes once in a while ( no particular intervals) in multiple computers running WIN2K.

    No new softwares were installed.

Below is the results of running Dump Data Collection Tool. Does it throw any light on what might be causing it? Thanks for *any* pointers you might be able to offer.

    VB program runtime

What is the program designed to do, and has it been run successfully before?

    Thanks for taking my question.

It queries Oracle database using DAE ( IBM software to send/receive info) to get the information.
It's been running fine but it freezes up once in a while. It been happening for an year on both NT/WIN2K.

I ran the windbg and it said.

    Probably caused by : MSVBVM50.DLL ( MSVBVM50!__vbaStrCat+4a )

    Is it true?

    visual basic virtual machine

Make sure you have latest version of msvbvm50.dll which should be Visual Basic Virtual Machine, v. 05.00.4319.

Download separately or download highest SP for your flavor of windows.

you can't really debug VB programs from user dumps like this. Its much more productive to repro the phenomenon in the MSDEV environment and chase it down that way.
