IE 6 quit, no error

    I was happily shopping at JCPenneys and twice I was knocked right out of IE and onto my desktop. There was no warning, error, nothing. IE just wasn't running. Was it an internet glitch? Gremlins? Computer is squeaky clean, and has been running flawlessly since last September. I have been surfing all around the world since IE inexplicably stopped, and no further problems. Should I worry about this? Is there anything I should check? Or should I just forget it, and chalk it up to "one of those things "? :confused:

    It was probably a piece of code like Java that IE didn't like.

    I wouldn't lose any sleep over a hiccup :) - if it happens on a more frequent basis then - yes, if you insist :D

    I had the same problem and then I noticed that when I clicked on my Java applet in the control panel it wouldn't open. I uninstalled/reinstalled Java and the problem went away.
