windows media player9 playback problems

    :confused: hi,
    i have windows me. yesterday i ripped and burned a cd with media player 9. first attempt. dont know what i did wrong but, the music was louder than the lyrics. some tracks worse than others. it is worse when played on the computer. not quite as bad when played in cd player. any ideas why? thanks. :)

    Hi nana
    Make sure you burn to a CD/R not a CD/RW disk. If you did that, then try going into "Enhancements ". (View, Enhancements, Graphic Equalizer) Click the "reset ".
    Also check the Crossfading and AutoVolume leveling. Turn on the auto volume leveling, if it is off.

    :( i was able to reset the graphic equalizer. can't check the crossfading and auto volume leveling. i dont have that option on my player.must just be for xp. i have windows me. thanks
