I am going ballistic trying to get the Ebay site functioning "normally." eBay went throught their maintenance stage on 4/7 and 4/9. Beginning those days, I started having problems displaying pages within the eBay site. Pages would load slowly, hang, then finally the message I love to hate: This page cannot be displayed.

I've done everything possible. Delete cookies, files, empty caches, restart, shutdown completely, removed and reinstalled MSIE 6, deleted/reinstalled SP2, booted from the Windows XP CD, allowed session cookies, installed and tried different browsers (Netscape, Mozilla Firefox), disconnected and reconnected cables on both my DSL modem and D-Link router, even tried registering an entirely different name on eBay as well as spend $39.95 on Error Nuker.

eBay is suggesting I contact my ISP, however, I'm not having any problems navigating eBay on another computer (iMac) which is wirelessly routed to this computer.

    Does anyone have a clue?

Yes, I do see the message appearing on eBay site windows. Depending on how I access the site (signed in or not), I can usually get through up to 3-4 redirect before it will start lagging again, then displaying that message on the page.

Wellllll.... you're all not going to believe what solved the problem. I finally contacted the techs at DLink about a different problem... those little balloon popups that kept saying something like: A cable is unplugged.

Dlink sent me a firmware upgrade to get rid of that particular problem, and wouldn't you know... not only did the little ballooney things go to heaven (bye bye!), but the eBay site starting working again?!?!?! My IE browser was just fine. Grrrr... all the trouble I went through. LOL
