I have lost my Pagemaker 7.0 files three different times in the past 3 weeks. I will click to open something, or move something and it's gone. No warning, and in fact the most recent file in the "recent file" pull down, is quite a few saves earlier than what I was working in. I had the same thing happen with my email today. My current folder was gone and in it's place was a version from about a year ago. Any ideas? I'm thinking there's a glitch in either Pagemaker or Windows XP Pro. I'm thinking I should reinstall Pagemaker. If so, my files won't be affected, just the program itself, right? Thanks for any help, thoughts, ideas. Marcye

God, that happens to me all the time with Paint Shop Pro. when i'm working in layers. It'll be there, then i'll click something and it just disappears. I haven't been able to figure it, but I hope someone here know what's up with that.

What Windows version are you running?

Do you have any other programs open when that happens? What version of Windows are you running? I "m trying to pinpoint what the exact problem is.

I suggest a trawl through the Pagemaker forums
Right, but wise to back up your files or at least make a copy in another location on the drive.
