I have just recently started having problems with my internet explorer version 6 stop printing web pages. When I tell it to print a page, it will go to the printer but all I get is the headers, none of the website is printed. I first thought this was only one location, but now I see that none of my pages print. . The only change I have made is trying to upgrade from Norton Antivirus 2001 to 2005. I have been having trouble with this also.
    Any ideas?

If you go, in IE, to File > Print Preview do you see the entire web page?

If not there is sometimes a button in the Print Preview menu bar which allows you to select what to print from the page(s).

Print preview shows only the footer, and a blank page. After print preview, there is a button for page setup. This allows me to only choose the paper size.

OK - this sometimes works ....

Click on a word or highlight a word in the main body of the web page - then print.

I selected a word and told it to print selection and had the same bad luck.

something simply stupid is happening I'm sure.

I wonder if the page you are trying to print has frames - see here

Print optionss, the box that is highlighted is "all frames individually" but all that area is grayed out. This is for all the sites I have tried to print on lately. Including this one as a test.

I'm not familiar with Win 2k, but would suggest that you run System File Checker . This is the recommended first step in repairing IE.

I went to my computer, properties tools and told it to fix errors on the next reboot and now I can print again.

    Thanks
