Firefox 1.0.3 Test Candidate Builds

    Duly noted, and thanks for the link to today's release. I have edited the above post to include the updated release. Downloaded and installed here.


    If anyone is interested in downloading and installing the most current Firefox 1.0.3 Test Candidate Build, it can be downloaded here:

    I have found these builds to be quite stable, and have encountered no problems so far. You may be interested in reading Asa Dotzler's comments about Firefox 1.0.3:

    For people not interested in testing, I would suggest sitting tight and waiting for Firefox 1.0.3 final to be released. It shouldn't be too long.

    Mozilla 1.7.7 is also in the works. See:

    I couldn't agree more, Mike, as the developers want information from users who are serious about testing. These test builds are not intended for all end users. I hoped that was perfectly clear from Asa's Weblog...

    Latest that I have seen is that any nightly build from today (04/06/05) will not contain the patch that broke extensions, but will contain the patch that fixes that specific javascript bug, which is the subject, and object of, this thread.
