    Hi,
A friend of mine added memory to his computer and loaded the Windows XP. This seems to be working well but he said that he still has Windows 95 loaded and wants to get rid of it. What is the best way to uninstall Windows 95.

    Thank you for your help.

Best way is just to delete the folder that has the 9x version.

Note that unless you also edit the boot.ini file to remove the 9x line, it will continue to show up as a boot option even though the OS is gone.

Note that if 9x is on C:\ and XP is on another partition, a few essential XP startup files will remain in C:\ but hidden so you might not notice them.
