ntoskrnl.exe block

    I am getting a message - pale blue popup bottom right saying "NT kernel and sysem (file ntoskrnl.exe)is being blocked ". How do I unblock it?

    Grant -- I am having exactly the same problem, but no luck in tracking down a way to correct it, or whether it's going to cause a problem if I unblock it. Have you had any luck? Any advice from other members about this? Much thanks.

    That message is generally generated when an incoming request, often times hacker activity, is blocked by your firewall. It might also be outgoing traffic, possibly something you don't really want going out. Look at the firewall event logs to see if you can determine when the block occured, and if it was incoming or outgoing, what port was blocked, etc.

    What kind of problem is the block creating for you?
