    this is only the second dr. watson error I have ever had, the first one was from a dll. that came with the free AVguard anti-virus, so I changed to a different anti-virus program

    but this one I do not understand it says
    C: Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer. exe c0000005 urlmon
    Find Media Type C {1A40A6E5}

    aApplication exception occurred:
    App: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe (pid=504)
    When: 4/1/2005 @ 13:20:56.451
    Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)nd this

    what does it mean? :confused:

    If you reboot, does the error come back?

    no, I just have the one instance of it and I think it was from a pop-up-stopper program I installed.

    I deleted it, so everything is okay now.

    shortgal10--What log are you reading to get that Dr. Watson message? I used to get nice, simple messages like that in Win98 (.wlg files), but in XP, there are no .wlg files and the drwtsn32.log is all numbers and code.
