    Hi all,

I have a small problem that I am trying to find out how to fix. I have WIN XP with SP2 and I have one administrator account and I also have the Guest account enabled. At time to time I let others use my computer but I want to make it so that people can use the Dial-Up connection (at least create one) on the guest account so that they can access the internet on that account instead of my admin account.

Does anyone know what I mean? Some advice would be appreciated. :)

    Regards,

The Guest account has some built-in limitations and is usually a pain in the hindparts to mess with.

Create a new account and add it to the Users group. It will have rights to do some things but not nearly enough to be able to mess up the PC.

You didn't specify the pro or home version of XP and since they approach the account creation process differently, it's a little hard to give you a how-to.

    What version of Xp?

Sorry about that. I have XP Pro. But If your seggestion is just to make a new account with limited access them I know how to do that. But is there basically no one to do it in the guest account?

I also want to say thanks to you for your fast reply :D

    Pro - good.

Yup - a new account was what I had in mind.

Not positive that it cannot be done via the Guest account. Microsoft did some strange things with that account and I have around zero experience with it. It is disabled on any system I work with.

Nope. Guest account means no dial-up access.
