Add Remove programs also start up programs

Trying to determine what is needed or not needed in startup and in add remove programs...just looking around I notice some things ..not sure what they are or how they got there....any suggestions on how to limit unwanted or unneeded stuff..The bad thing about the internet is what comes in un-invited...firewalls, spyware, adware, mailware, phishishing...this that and on and on and on...Anyway...A few items in my add remove programs I am not certain of are: "The Bullseye Network" , New.net Domains 6.38 ,

In my start up is C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII\CMESys.exe

Not sure what that is.

Anyway to know or find out what should or should not be running? Thanks much! Have a good one!

A few items in my add remove programs I am not certain of are: "The Bullseye Network" , New.net Domains 6.38 This stuff is ad-ware: download/install and update before using Ad-Aware and Spybot, links from here:
