I have a video file which is 50 MB in my documents, the video plays fine but when it gets to the end of the file it hangs for about 5 secs. When I have the file on my desktop it does not hang? Is there a reason for this? I used windows media player series 9.

My PC is Win Xp SP2, AMD 1800, 512 DDR, 120 New HDD 72,000 8 MB cache

Hi James. Could you be specific about what you mean when you say the file 'hangs'.

Also, I removed "please help" from your topic title. Not needed since all the posts on here are basically asking for assistance. I also added a bit to make the title more meaningful to someone searching for help with a similar problem. Hopefully I got the right meaning for 'hangs' but wanted to make sure.
