Can someone please help with my problem? I just updated xp and now IE is
not working. Page wont come up, links in OE wont come up,new links in windows wont come up. If I hit the ctrl key they will work. I am also getting
error messages that I have not gotten before. So frustrated :(
I have tried different ways that I have found in help sections, but still not working. If someone can help I would appreciate it so much.
    Thank you
    Michele

It would help if you gave more details of the updates you installed just before the problem with IE appeared and also the error messages that you are now getting ??

    Keepon,

If you are using a firewall other than Microsoft's built in firewall, that could be the problem. Updating the application file causes the firewall to see the application as a new application. Are you running Norton's firewall by any chance?

keeponsmiln--Elaborating on what iclarius has said, you should not run more than one firewall. If you are, suggest you disable Windows Firewall. (Control Panel|Windows Firewall).
