Windows updates

Hi
Can anyone tell me where I could download windows updates for windows 98?
I would like to save them and copy to a CD. Is that possible? or allowed?

I need to download them on my old PC.

Hello Geri,
Welcome to the BBS site! I'm new too so I understand the computer can be an experience!! Anyway you need to go to Microsoft Update web site and follow the prompts to obtain updates. Your question is vague in meaning there are ALOT of updates, so I would recommend when you are ready(mening up and running) on that particular computer, go to the site, you will see a section (left column) and click were it says "scan for updates" They will scan your computer and present you a list.

Thanks for the info, But I want to dowload them and save them on this computer and burn them to a disk.
Much faster that way

(Do not be mislead that you are on the Windows Update site, even though it looks similar at first glance.)
