    Hello dolphin,

Is this a recent install? If so, do you have a System Restore point just prior to the install?

    If that's not feasable:

Try Safe Mode first. Boot up hitting the F8 key and delete, than reboot normally.

If the file still won't delete - Use Move On Boot, download from here: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/moveonboot.html to delete it. It will add a new item to your right click Context Menu, target that file with Move on Boot, and then reboot.

Another tool to use for installing/uninstalling http://www.webattack.com/get/totaluninstall.shtml

    Regards - Charles

charlesvar's suggestion will work but heres steps to do this without using extra-ordinary means......

    SUPPORT SITE INSTRUCTION......
To un-install Evidence Eliminatorâ„¢ or any other program please first quit the program. In Evidence Eliminatorâ„¢, right-click the system tray EE icon and select Exit. Open Control Panel and use the Add/Remove programs function. If our program is not listed there, we advise re-installing Evidence Eliminatorâ„¢ to the same location, then go back to Control Panel to un-install. You may have to manually delete the installation folder afterwards, to complete the process. If you cannot see this program listed in the Control Panel add/remove programs section, Windows has probably lost the entry. Open the folder where you installed our software and double-click unwise.exe to uninstall.

If at this stage you still have our software installed, your copy of Windows is corrupt. < Personal comment inserted here: This is extremely doubtful, sounds like an excuse or they're trying to shift the blame using "to broad of a statement" or "conclusion ". From the Start Menu - Find Files function, Locate all copies of ee.exe on your system and delete them. This removes our software forcibly. You should never have to do this and if you do, we advise reformatting your disk and reinstalling Windows fresh because it is corrupted. This problem is rare.

To Manually Remove Right-Click Explorer Menus

After un-installing a copy of Evidence Eliminatorâ„¢ the un-installer program normally removes these menus from Windows. However if the copy was corrupted you may have to do this manually. Please reinstall EE, go to Options - Misc section and press the button to manually de-activate the menu items. Now de-install EE and the menus will not reappear.

    SUGGESTION...
Use cntl/alt/del to bring up the the task manager and see if the files mentioned above are running if so "end task" them. You can not delete a shelled file that is loaded in memory and running. After closing this or these you should be able to delete it or them.

    CURIOUSITY...
What went wrong with the uninstall routine that has left you with having to clean this up manually? If the uninstall went sour you may still be left with "dredge" (files, context menus entries, registry entry's, etc.). If so you should consider the method supplied by the site that supports this software ie; Reinstall it and use the steps recommended for a clean uninstall.

    Oppsy!

I see you have come, "done the deed" and gone while I was typing and editing my post. Oh well! , perhaps some other member in the future will need this. I am, however, glad this is a nuisance put behind you using the method that worked for you. :)
