    Hi
I'm looking for a free unzipping tool.
I tried to download IZArc, but there seems to be a problem I have DSL and I was looking at a 4 hour download for a 3 MB file
It had to do with the download site I guess, because I downloaded a 9 MB file in just over a minute.
Can anyone give me a alternative zip tool thats free and easy to use.
    Thanks
    Geri

I can vouch for 7Zip. On Jim's link above and scroll down to 7Zip.

I really like Power Archiver. Allows you to open and view the contents of a zip file without extracting. As shown on the page, version 611 is the last freeware version.

    Hi Dave
Old version.com, Cool I've had that web site in my favorites for sometime.

Do you think there would be a conflict if I had both downloaded to see which one I would like best? (7Zip or Power Archiver).

    Thanks
    Geri

Doubt there would be a conflict, but they will both probably want to be associated with zip files upon installation/use. I have and use both Winzip and Power Archiver with no conflict.
