Add extra infromation about files

Is it possible to add extra information about files and folders etc on the left hand side of the screen? For example, if you click on this link:

http://i140.exs.cx/img140/7131/details0ca.jpg

... You will see that when I click just once on a folder, it will only say the name of the folder and when it was created. Could I add how big the whole file is instead of having to right click and go to properties?

If you go to the 'Menu' in Window Explorer, then click 'View', then select 'Details'... you will see more information. Then go back to 'View' and select 'Choose Details' you can pick the columns that are displayed.
