Hey there! Well I just rebooted from an error in my computer running xp home edition that said the following:

Problem has been detectyed and windos has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. The problem seems to be caused by the following file:
    vsdatant.sys

    Technical Information:
    *** Stop: 0x00000050 (0x8B000042, 0x00000000, 0xF3E9AE08, 0x00000000)
    *** vsdatant.sys - address F3E9AE08 base at F3E91000, Datestamp 39DA2c5c

Hmmm... that's about where I got lost. What is this message telling me and what is cousing it? I would appreciate your help.
    Fernando

    thanx!!

thank you for that information, xp had adviced me not to install the old version of zone alarm in the first place. I notice I don't need it anywas because i have mcafee firewall. I uninstalled zone alarm, this should end the problem. Again, thank you
